Remember, a couple of weeks ago whilst reviewing MAC’s Haute & Naughty Lash mascara I mentioned I had found a cheaper alternative that did just as good a job? Well this is it!
If you know me, you’ll know that I love Covergirl’s original Lash Blast formula, so when I discovered Fusion and it’s claim months ago, I knew I had to try it out. Totally worth the wait, it’s like they took the already great original formula and added a lengthening property to it!
As you can see above, I feel like it really opens up my eye! I was amazed at how long my lashes looked, but thick at the same time. Which is a general problem for me with most lengthening mascaras, they always give me twig like length
I love that this mascara doesn’t smudge, I’ve cried with this stuff on and somehow it still managed to stay on without giving me raccoon eyes (of course part of that comes down to how to wipe your eyes with the tissue whilst crying etc).
My only complaint is that I need to be careful to blot the wand each time I use this stuff. Which is a bit annoying if you’re like me, and applying mascara literally on the go. It doesn’t exactly clump up, but it leaves little splotches of mascara on my lashes which just take a bit of extra time to work out. Not a big deal if you have the luxury of time. Still I can’t give it a perfect grade for this one thing!
Be sure to shop around, I found the price for it can differ depending where go, I got mine at Priceline for $15.95AU, only to find it for $13.95AU at the Coles just a few shops down some days later. Yes, I did feel like kicking myself, thanks. But honestly, either way you look at it, compare $15.95AU to $42AU for a mascara that pretty much does the same job, and it is certainly worth it
Let me know if anyone else has tried it out, I’d love to know what others think!
