Don’t let the name fool you, Eyeko is actually an affordable British brand, similar to BarryM and Sleek, only with a far more limited range. Their graffiti eyeliners basically felt tip liners that come in three colours, black, purple and blue.

The liners have a really cute design and are very easy to use, they might prove slightly difficult for people with smaller eyes because the felt tips are quite large. I also found them to be quite hard, there wasn’t a heap of give so do make sure you use them with care to avoid poking yourself with them. The tip is also very sharp, so great for detailed designs and thin lines, slightly dangerous for poking yourself though.

Funnily enough I found the purple and blue liners to be very lovely and inky, yet the black really lacked pigmentation. I suspect a good way to counter this would be to store it upside down so the ink is constantly flowing towards the felt tip. Like most liquid liners I’ve tried, they have amazing hold and last an entire working day.

Unfortunately I can’t say the same about how they deal with bloggers, for almost every review I write I usually request a media release (a pdf / doc file) about the product to help ensure my reviews cover all bases, but according to Eyeko, they don’t have time to help support bloggers who are in fact supporting the brand :(

All in all, these liners are quite lovely, nothing ultra special, but honestly how special can a felt tip eye liner be? Can’t say I’m too fond of their customer service / PR, but I still plan to review future products if I can get my hands on them just because I still believe in providing honest reviews for as many products as possible, regardless of how I personally feel towards the company.
