Earlier this month I blogged about NARS’ Duo Eye Shadow in Hula Hula, and today I’m bringing you Bysance. Quality wise, I found the two to be pretty much the same. Buttery, smooth, pigmented and generally a solid high quality powder.

As you can see, the colours are very strong, but the finishes are not the same between the two. There is a medium purple matte shade that does need a bit more piling on to achieve a decent pigmentation, and then we have the satin like gold shade, which no surprise is my favourite of the two. The gold shade is just amazing, slightly better quality than the purple (easier application), but the finish is just stunning~ It is amazing on the lid
All in all, not a very every day wearable duo and so may be something you consider over looking given the price. But if you love these particular shades, then give it a go

I’ve been wanting to create a look with these very colours from a music video I saw ages ago! But haven’t had much luck due to poor pigmentation. So I think I’ll have to get this.
