I’m no poetry expert, but I’ve always loved Edgar Allan Poe’s The Raven. It as the sort of depth and darkness that isn’t common in today’s media. I wanted to specifically do a Raven inspired look, but the black feathered lashes I used took away from the entire elegance and simplicity. It was pretty horrid X-x; So I decided to scrap the lashes and half-heartedly imitate Lenore, the author’s lost love.
The look is dark, yet simple. And truly the “magic” of this video comes from the editing. I had a lot of fun altering my voice and trying to sound mysterious and sombre, though how well that carried across you’ll have to tell me hehe. I hope the video isn’t considered too depressing, that certainly wasn’t my intention. But if it manages to leave you feel a little on edge, feel free to let me know
Enjoy!

Oh The Raven. EAP In general was one of my favorite childhood authors. I used to fall asleep reading that poem over and over because of the strong emotion.
I was really captivated by you in the video. I loved this tutorial especially since we share a similar eye shape and it really helps me to see other people applying their eye makeup. the lips, face and even the nails are all lovely darling!
