A little while ago Burberry released a number of eyeshadow palettes, each palette contains four diagonal shaped eyeshadow pans embossed with their trademark checked pattern.
If you’ve ever tried their single eyeshadows before then you’ll know exactly what I mean when I say these shadows are like butter. They are like soft velvet to the touch, highly pigmented and blends incredibly well.
Each eyeshadow comes (as with most high end palettes) encased in a velvet pouch, but this time this comes with three applicators. An angled brush, a eyeshadow brush and sponge tip, all three are practical brushes and I love that they are stored separate to the actual palette. Such a refreshing change.
The colours in this palette are great at creating a brown to black smokey eye, but the darker shades are so pigmented that they work great as a liners as well.
All in all I love this palette, I’ve got a second one lined up for review next week I’m very tempted to buy more, but I’ll be good and enjoy the ones I have
