My name is Celina, I’m an aspiring artist, whose medium is makeup, fashion, cosplay, photography and digital media. Fables in Fashion documents my journey through these mediums and more.
A few facts:
- I’ve been blogging for around eleven years now, on a number of different platforms, my first blog is still alive in the form of Waterscape.
- I started cosplaying in 2002, after being inspired by one of my best friends, whom I didn’t know at the time.
- Cosplay has given me the opportunity to grace the covers of newspapers such as The Age in June 2010 and January 2011 as well as Melbourne’s Metro MX in February 2011.
- I graduated with a degree in IT and work full time in the industry, and part time in journalism for Channel 9. I’ve never received any formal training as a journalist nor makeup artist.
- I’ve been a classical pianist since the age of 5 and have performed at many a concert growing up, I continue to play and study my craft till this day.
- One of my other passions lies in video games and tech gadgets, I am primarily a PC gamer dividing most of my time between World of Warcraft and StarCraft 2.
- I’m known by my friends for my addiction to certain luxury goods, Louis Vuitton and Chanel chip away at my wallet the most.
- I am addicted to white hot chocolates, I hate coffee and alcohol!
