I have to be honest, when I first received this perfume in the mail, I knew it would be difficult to review since I’m not a huge fan of celebrity perfumes. My perception of the quality of their products tie in very close to the celebrity endorsing it, and whilst I have nothing against Kim Kardashian herself, she isn’t someone I personally can relate nor look up to.
Still I wanted to review this fragrance for its qualities alone, and ignore the brand, I can certainly see it appealing to some individuals.
The perfume comes with a very strong floral scent, almost to the point of being musky even. It isn’t something I’d imagine very young women wearing; then again I picture young adult females wearing more delicate scents. This doesn’t strike me as being delicate, but bolder. It would work great as an evening scent, a little goes a long way with this product so be sure not to over spray yourself.
It certainly has appeal; it is relatively small so works well for on the go ladies or men (I don’t discriminate!). Most likely won’t be a scent I reach for personally very often, but it’s certainly claimed its spot in my perfume collection
You can purchase the bottle for $49 at any Priceline, Perfume Connection, Myer etc. Not such a bad price given how expensive perfumes are in general.

If you watch TV or have walked through either Myer or David Jones lately, you’ll have noticed Giorgio Armani’s latest campaign to help provide clean drinking water to third world cities / countries, starting with Ghana.
To help with their campaign they’ve released a perfume called Acqua di Gioia, which I was fortunate enough to be sent a bottle of. Purchasing either Acqua di Gioia or their other fragrance, Acqua di Gio will allow the customer to help provide up to 100 litres of drinking water for children living in poverty stricken areas. I admittedly buy beauty products left, right and centre so a concept like this, whilst indulging in something I love that actually contributes to improving the world is certainly a good feeling

The scent is probably not something I usually wear, in fact I think it is a stand out and unique scent out of my entire existing collection, which is filled with sweet, floral fragrances. Upon opening this bottle, I found it to be much sharper with almost a mint / mojito note in it. Throughout the day, the sharpest remained, but unlike other scents I’ve tried, the scent had a cool and refreshing feel to it, not to mention it latest an entire working day.
The scent is almost unisex to me, besides the bottle it doesn’t strike me as being overly feminine, and I honestly wouldn’t have known otherwise if men did choose to wear this scent.
I think if sweet, overly feminine scents are not your thing, this could be what you are looking for. And after all, it is for a good cause. You can purchase this limited edition bottle for $140AU at any departmental stores, The Perfume Collection etc, or if you are interested in the cause, read more on their website.

I’ve never reviewed a perfume before, and that’s most likely because generally I don’t enjoy scented products. I’m more the sort of person who just wants to have a good shower and smell clean. Yet I still do have a perfume collection (admittedly a small one) because I do like having a particular scent for special occasions or something I just feel like it.
“elegant and spirited young woman in love”
Miss Dior Chérie is the first perfume I’ve ever tried~ I remember first encountering it at Duty Free many years ago, at the time I graduated from University and wanted literally to “graduate” into a mature woman, I thought this was the perfect start.
I’m not the best at describing scents (maybe I need more practice), but I would call this floral fruity sweet, all the things I love in a scent for myself. It feels classic and chic, I certainly feel more polished and put together with this on.
I usually spray this on my hair or clothes rather than my skin as I find that makes the scent last much longer. When on my skin, I find the scent disappearing after a few hours. When on my hair and clothes, sometimes the scent can still linger on till the very next morning.
