I know I’m not actually in any snow, but this outfit just makes me feel like a snow bunny! How ironic too since today is the first day of Spring!

Shoes and sunglasses are my favourite aspects of this outfit, the shoes were about $35-40AU and the sunglasses were $8AU! I do love me some great steals!

I’ve noticed a bit of a trend in my wardrobe, I tend to stick to solid colours, avoiding patterns etc. And I’ve figured out why.

These same items of clothing can be easily incorporated into corporate wear, which up until recently has always been my “bread and butter” 5 days a week, 52 weeks a year for the last 3 years.

In other words, they are versatile!

I say recently because a week ago I was assigned a dream client (fashion industry), where everyday is “casual” clothes, oh the many outfits I will finally be able to explore! If only I could take photos of myself at work, without you know, getting awkward stares!

That’s besides the point, when I go shopping for hardware supplies for cosplay, and food for the rest of the week I try and dress as casually and as chic as possible! Too bad none of the photos really show you the aqua colour on my lower eyelash line

Living in Australia can often mean limited fashion choices for people my size. I know I made a post about this last time, but seriously! It is so hard to find any XS or anything in size 4 when I go shopping. And if I do find it, chances are it’s not my style or exceedingly expensive.

So when I went over to Japan earlier this year, I made sure I could at least dedicate half a day to clothes shopping (our schedule was so tight I was lucky to even get that!)

That’s where I found this jacket, at surprisingly Forever 21! I know that’s an American brand, but there are none in Australia so I knew I had to visit it, if only to see what all the hype was all about.

The boots are a gray suede lace up, very comfortable and on sale at Nine West DFO Outlet.

For too long has my wardrobe been both plain and practical, every time I saw a piece of art (otherwise known as shoes, or clothes, or jewellery or anything I could wear!!) I’d tell myself, no! Only buy what is sensible and something you could wear to work.
Life is too short to be boring, so since I started this blog, I’ve been allowing myself to grow and let my artistic side dictate both my life and appearance. It’s… scary to some degree, being so bold about one’s appearance, not fearing being looked at or stopped on the streets (though you’d think I’d be used to that now as a cosplayer!). But like I said, life is too short
So when I saw these black suede boots I knew I had to have them! They are by Siren, not sure what the name is. The zippers are crazy, love them

Can’t wait to see how artistic I can take my outfits
