Please note I will not respond to emails / messages that ask questions that have already been covered on this page, thank you for understanding.
Can I write a guest post on your blog?
Guest post is via invitation only, so please do not contact me about guest posting on Fables in Fashion. I am not interested in cross-promotion. Requests will not be responded to.
Can I send you a product for review?
Sure! Please note that all my reviews have and always will be honest, my priority is to maintain Fables as an honest source for my readers. Please contact me for my mailing details.
Can we run advertisements on your website?
Currently I do not accept any form of sponsored posts or advertisement on my blog.
Can I use an image from your website?
Yes, so long as I am given credit with a link back and the watermark on the photos are kept intact.
Can I re-post a part of your blog post?
Yes, so long as I am given full credit with a link back.
Can we do a link exchange?
I don’t link any blogs at the moment.
Why did you remove my URL from my comment?
Please understand that I want Fables to be a place for honest discussions about the topic at hand or just between friends, I am not keen on the idea of people using my blog as a platform to promote their own blogs.
I’m totally fine with people posting links that are relevant to the topic being discussed and your blog will always be linked via your name when you leave a comment, so there really is no reason to in addition, leave your URL as well in the actual comment unless you are attempting to promote yourself using my blog.
If you are uncomfortable with me removing your URL from your comment, then feel free to refrain from commenting
Can we please feature you / interview you for our publication / school project etc?
Certainly, please contact me at contact[AT]fablesinfashion.com or use the contact form provided above.
Why do you moderate comments?
To prevent spammers and trolls from taking over my blog.
Where did you learn to apply makeup?
Self-taught, reading a lot of blogs and watching even more YouTube videos and practice!
Where did you learn to sew?
My mother taught me how to use a sewing machine when I was in high school and the rest is all through experimenting with patterns and a lot of trial and error!
I’m a photographer and would like to do a shoot with you, is this possible?
It certainly is so long as my own conditions are met. Such as having the last say on what a shoot will look like, costumes used, who the models are (or whether I model them myself) and I always bring a friend or two with me to shoot with photographers whom I do not know.
If you want to shoot with me in a less formal environment I recommend attending an event or convention I will be at.
Can I please buy one of your costumes / have you commission a costume for me?
Unfortunately no on both accounts, if I’m selling a costume I will announce it on the blog. I do not do commissions for costumes, simply do not have the time and I can’t see anyone willing to pay a fair rate.
