Summer Shoes

September 29th, 2010 § 3 comments § permalink

This past winter I was obsessed with ankle booties, but obviously wearing them in our hot Aussie summer will leave me with some very sweaty feet (eww). But thanks to my boot obession, I don’t actually have many open toed shoes. Which is strange because I love them, so above are a couple I’m currently eyeing/saving for~

I’ll be honest, I hate buying shoes at full price, because 95% of the time they will end up on sale. So I make sure to build a massive “wishlist” and when the sales hit (and they always do), I can start sniping off which ones are still available in my size :) Does anyone else do the same thing? I think the only time I’ve paid full price for shoes is usually if I need it that very weekend for an event or I love it too much to wait @_@ I have too many weak moments :(

Fables in Fashion

I’ve noticed a bit of a trend in my wardrobe, I tend to stick to solid colours, avoiding patterns etc. And I’ve figured out why.

These same items of clothing can be easily incorporated into corporate wear, which up until recently has always been my “bread and butter” 5 days a week, 52 weeks a year for the last 3 years.

In other words, they are versatile!

I say recently because a week ago I was assigned a dream client (fashion industry), where everyday is “casual” clothes, oh the many outfits I will finally be able to explore! If only I could take photos of myself at work, without you know, getting awkward stares!

That’s besides the point, when I go shopping for hardware supplies for cosplay, and food for the rest of the week I try and dress as casually and as chic as possible! Too bad none of the photos really show you the aqua colour on my lower eyelash line :(
