All too often I run into the same problem. I’ll find a piece of clothing that I absolutely adore, it looks perfect! Usually I find it online, so I buy it~ Eventually it makes its way into my arms, I put it on and what do you know? It’s too “big”. The dress that appeared to fall just above the knees on the model is down to my ankles!

Since Burberry released this jacket, I loved it instantly! Almost as much as I love their Duchesse Silk Knotted Epaulette Trench Coat. Even if I had the money, I could see this lovely coat coming down to my knees and being rather unflattering.
I doubt I’m the only height deprived individual out there, but man it sucks

That’s right! Heart broken! I am trying to focus more on mature looks and neutral colours, but when I saw this baby staring back at me at Crown, I knew I had to have it. It was so summery and cute!

I decided the first time I would wear it would be for Chinese New Year
Now, I’ve always known that white PVC and light coated canvas are vulnerable to dye transfer, it’s what everyone will tell you (and I’ve seen it happen to my older bags too). I just didn’t realise that a cardigan I had washed a good 4-5 times would transfer its dye within a matter of.. 20 mins total use!? Yep!

As you can see the handles (and a few other parts of the bag) are tinted in a light pink colour. Nothing will get it off, I have tried everything I can find, even Burberry couldn’t help. So my advice is unless you tend to only wear light neutral coloured clothes, think twice about picking up any of the nova check with white PVC from Burberry!

No matter how cute and irresistible the design is!

For as long as I can remember, I’ve always been a bag girl. I won’t pay a cent over $200AU for shoes or clothes, but the sky is the limit (not really, but you know what I mean) for a bag that catches my eyes. My justification has always been that bags are easier to take care of, they don’t touch the floor or get thrown into a washing machine where they can potentially become damaged. Every once and a while I will wipe them down with gentle baby wipes or a damp clean cloth and store them in their dust bags, where they are safe and look good as new. To me they are worth the extra money, they last forever.

However, lately I find myself gravitating towards shoes. I remember a couple years back seeing a gorgeous pair of Chanel booties. And I literally fell in love, but I just could not bring myself to spend that sort of money on an item that will hit the ground everyday and most likely wear out within a matter of months. A part of me still regrets not at least attempting to find the shoes on sale.
Still, I can’t help but lovingly stare at a beautiful pair of heels in a store with my hands and nose pressed up against the window like a kid into a candy store. Dreaming of some day soon venturing into the world of designer shoes.
