Over the weekend I attended the Melbourne Beauty Bloggers Event, kindly hosted by Oxygen Skin Centre and organised by the very talented Ponikuta. And by luck, the weather was finally awesome! Winter is over, Spring is here =D
Not going to lie, when I was first invited I was pretty apprehensive just because I was SO nervous about the idea of being in a room of people I don’t know, I’m sure everyone knew each other and I’d be the girl looking in. Luckily, Violet and Jimmy were attending so at least I had someone I knew to keep me company
And I’m so glad I went, everyone was so lovely! Truly was surprised to learn how friendly other beauty bloggers were <3 I’m not sure I managed to talk to everyone, but I am honoured I say I know some very lovely local beauty bloggers now!
Here are some of my photos, I wasn’t as trigger happy as I should have been (dude, I was nervous!!), so I’ll be updating this post gradually to link to other people’s posts and photos of MBBE’s coverage.

Check out the lovely spread from EARL Canteen! Nom Nom!

Violet and Ponikuta!

Jacie getting her mug shot taken

Sandi gave us a lovely and motivating talk on blogging and being and editor of a magazine!

Me, Tine, Nadia, Akisa and Violet

Some of the goodies we left with~

Moar goodies! Dude, left with so much stuff I couldn’t hardly carry it all back to the car @_@
Need to send a huge thanks to Ponikuta for organising this awesome event, girl you have to let us know when you’re organising it next year so we can help you!!
And thanks to Violet for keeping me company and easing my nerves, she’s such a pro at blogging events and took such good care of me <3 <3
