Nail Swatches: Essie Art of Spring 2010

If you didn’t already know, Essie hit Melbourne Myer not too long ago that you can purchase for $18.95AU a bottle and the first collection out was the Art of Spring 🙂

Lilacism

“Elegant and enchanting, this satiny smooth lilac whispers springtime”

A soft dusky purple colour, I’m loving this shade, not sure whether I could wear it to work comfortably, but overall it’s beautiful colour.

Neo Whimsical

“Flaunt your classic taste with this rose-plum hue”

This is a close second favourite from this collection, the formula applies amazingly smooth, even though it is very sheer even after 3 coats you can’t get full opacity.

Pop Art Pink

“Add a pop of romance with this sheer chiffon pink”

An amazing pink nude, which suits me perfectly! I can see myself using this polish a lot~

Red Nouveau

“The new must-have red is a fiery hot crimson that makes a true fashion statement”

Only 2 coats needed, the pigmentation is amazing. Unfortunately it’s just a standard red creme, nothing overly unique.

Van D’Go

“Impressionist or not, this peachy keen shade leaves a vivid impact”

I love how this colour just pops, though I’m not 100% sure it really suits me. I found the formula for this pretty streaky and hard to apply 🙁

Tart Deco

“Chic and modern, this dreamy coral is an artist burst of colour”

A bright pink / coral creme, I really like this colour I think it suits my complextion quite well. I’d consider this wearing to work too, quite a safe colour.

Overall
Pop Art Pink is my favourite, hands down! I know it’s just an average pink nude, but I still love it 🙂 Next would be a tie between Neo Whimsical and Lilaciam~

Keep Up with Mia
