Shidou Hikaru’s manga warrior costume has been one of my most complex and rewarding costumes I’ve ever made. Its been a costume I’ve had my sights on for many years now and in 2010 I decided to make it.
There are so many reasons I love this costume, both from a construction point of view (took five weekends to make the sword, many thanks to Toby for helping), but the fact that two of my great friends Sefie and Annie cosplayed both Fuu and Umi with me, and that it was featured on the front cover of the Melbourne MX newspaper! So many great memories

Its so true thou! And makeup can really pull a cosplay from good to amazing.
If I had better lighting I would do video’s about cosplay make-up like recreate charaters and such. Maybe some time in the future. Are you just using natural light?
