Travelling Europe with Tiffany & Co

Tiffany & Co

So if you guys have good memory, you’ll know I have this little tradition where I pick up a Tiffany & Co charm from each capital city of the world when I visit it! In fact about two years ago I did a post on this very topic :D Check out my first post regarding it to learn how the idea came about :)

I naturally kept with tradition when I visited Europe and picked up three charms for the three capital cities for each country :D

Italy

Tiffany & Co

Gelato for Roma, Italy, because I ate so much of it there!

Germany

Tiffany & Co

Beer in Berlin, Germany. Nuff Said!

France

Tiffany & Co

And this goes without saying! There was no perfect city other than Paris, France to purchase the Eiffel Tower!

As my charm collection slowly grows, I decided to purchase a little jewellery box to play house to them all :D You can see my Europe charms sitting nicely on the top row~

I just love looking at my little jewellery box, as weird as that sounds! Mostly because each charm has such wonderful memories associated to them~ They all have their own meaning regarding why I chose them, who was with them. So weird that I can still remember each time I visited Tiffany & Co to purchase them. I can’t wait to travel more of the world and fill the rest of the box!

Do you guys have any other traditions you carry out when you travel?

Shopbop Collection Preview

Shopbop

As probably everyone and their mum from the beauty / fashion blogging world knows, last week was Fashion week in Sydney! To celebrate Shopbop held a preview session of some items from their latest collection :D The lovely Gemma escorted me around the room and I managed to grab a few photos to share :)

Shopbop

Beautiful white roses to greet us! My favourite kind of roses :D

Shopbop

How great is this? A basics check list! Totally using this next time I go on holiday :D

Shopbop

This clutch instantly caught my eye when I saw it, I searched the Shopbop website and discovered it is by House of Harlow and can be found here.

Shopbop

Loved this combo, tempted to try incorporating bolder colours in my own look. At least something like this isn’t BAM in your face, but still enough to be eye catching!

Shopbop

Beautiful shoes that should come home with me.

Shopbop

I thought the soles of these shoes were just adorable! A gorgeous design most people will never see!

Shopbop

Moar shoes! I’m really contemplating getting the pink ones at the end…

Much love and thanks to Gemma for kindly inviting me over to checkout the new collection :) It was so much fun! Now to go shopping~

Bvlgari’s Save the Children Ring

Bvlgari's Save the Children

Up until a few years ago I had never been much of a fan of Bvlgari (Bulgari), to me it was the brand for wealthy old ladies. And to a degree that is probably still true. But this particular ring is one I had been eyeing for literally years for a number of reasons.

Firstly, the ring took on the design of Bvlgari’s iconic B.Zero1 design and it was at a fraction of the price since it was made of sterling silver. But most importantly, it was for a good cause as around 1/5 to 1/4 of the retail price of the ring was donated to the Save the Children campaign. I mean, I’ve always been a sucker for Tiffany & Co, yet nothing I’ve bought there goes to charity so this felt like double win!

The band is made from sterling silver with black ceramic, and I love how the “save the children” logo has been printed on the inside of the ring, I’m a sucker for these little details.

I’m completely in love with this ring, even though it is of a slightly more masculine nature :) I’m still not sure how I feel about wearing jewellery on a consistent basis yet, I tend to only wear my watch and even then only if I remember. But we shall see :)

Around the world with Tiffany

Tiffanys Blue Box

Not going to lie, I love Tiffany jewellery. Over the years I’ve been extremely lucky, up until my “around the world” idea, I hadn’t actually purchased a Tiffany item for myself. They were all gifts from family and friends!

So what’s this “Around the World” concept? One night on my birthday, Toby pulled out the trademark blue box from his bag and handed it to me. Eagerly I ripped open the box and found:

Tiffanys Heart

I -loved- it! As I dangled it off my arm I made a comment about how cute it would be if the bracelet had many others to keep it company. And then it hit me, I could collect more charms to make up the bracelet. And so began my quest to buy a single charm from every major city around the world.

Each charm has a meaning behind it, some more obvious than others ;) I just love having things rich with sentiment. I’m keen to see what this collection will be 10-20 years from now!

Doesn’t matter how many cities I visit, my home will always be where his heart is~

I Love You

Louis Vuitton Cosmic Blossom Square

Last weekend was the first full weekend I had off for seven weeks now, and knowing this project I’m currently on, it could be my last full free weekend for a while! So to celebrate my short lived freedom, I decided to spoil myself with a scarf I’d been eyeing for a loooong time!

It’s so so cute, I can’t wait to wear this to dinners or really anything!

Winter Obsessions – Scarves

When I leave the house for work, the sun is still sleeping. When I leave the office to go home, the sun has just gone to sleep. You know what that means right? Winter is here, and my winter accessories obsession can begin :) My first most loved fashion accessory are scarves! Here are some that I’m drooling over lately :9

Heart Broken

February 14th, 2010 § 2 comments § permalink

That’s right! Heart broken! I am trying to focus more on mature looks and neutral colours, but when I saw this baby staring back at me at Crown, I knew I had to have it. It was so summery and cute!

Burberry

I decided the first time I would wear it would be for Chinese New Year :) Now, I’ve always known that white PVC and light coated canvas are vulnerable to dye transfer, it’s what everyone will tell you (and I’ve seen it happen to my older bags too). I just didn’t realise that a cardigan I had washed a good 4-5 times would transfer its dye within a matter of.. 20 mins total use!? Yep!

Burberry

As you can see the handles (and a few other parts of the bag) are tinted in a light pink colour. Nothing will get it off, I have tried everything I can find, even Burberry couldn’t help. So my advice is unless you tend to only wear light neutral coloured clothes, think twice about picking up any of the nova check with white PVC from Burberry!

Burberry

No matter how cute and irresistible the design is!

Hello, I’m back from my trip in Asia~ I visited Beijing, China and Hong Kong and brought up a stack of goodies that I hope to share over time in my blog. However till then, I wanted to show you a couple of photos taken at a wonderful craft show held by a close friend of mine. Welcome to…

I’m always amazed whenever I see a booth by Celeste, the layout and colours are amazing and the quality of each of her pieces of nothing but first class. See below for a few more snaps of her lovely booth, and if something strikes your fancy I suggest you feed your cravings and visit her website.

Inclusion PM

I can stare into this bracelet for ages, all the floating symbols and gems. But I definitely it’s the sort of bracelet that looks better with a few stacked together in my opinion~
