Lazy days on a warm autumn day are the best! Comfy clothes, no time limit and good weather to enjoy with people you love. I’ve really started to enjoy photography days, so much so I’m trying to make them a more regular thing. It also gave me a chance to take the new Fujifilm Mini 8 Camera I as recently sent by Fuji to try out~ It’s an adorable little camera, perfect for parties or just a fun day out! I’m very tempted to buy my own now, if only the film wasn’t so expensive!

To be 100% honest, when I was putting this outfit together I really didn’t know what I was going for. In fact it started with the eye shadow, I was tired of wearing neutrals and decided to be a little daring and try something different. Which then lead to the shirt, then jeans and it just kept going from there! And now I absolutely -love- this outfit~ Blue and aqua colours are my absolute favourite, they are so calming

It’s not often I get to play dress up and really style an outfit together. Most of the time I just throw on whatever is within grabbing distance and go with that! Today I decided to go down the monochrome route and I loved it! I feel like the strong lips give this a more vintage feel, even though that wasn’t my original intention, I’ll go with it!

Quick snaps of my outfit at the airport late last month, the photos aren’t the best quality because I used my handy little point and shoot which doesn’t perform the best in low light situations (and these photos were taken around 7:30pm). Still, this is an incredibly comfy outfit for short flights For longer flights I would definitely opt for a loose dress with tights.

Tomorrow I shall be flying off to the beautiful Sunshine Coast to enjoy the ocean, sun and company of great friends~ I thought this was the better time to introduce you to this versatile scarf I picked up from Louis Vuitton in Paris last year! It’s one of my favourite scarves to wear just because the styling options are endless, but mostly a scarf of this size is perfect to take on the plane with you.

The temperature in planes can be so unpredictable, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gone from freezing to boiling in a matter of minutes, so I almost make sure to take a scarf with me either to wrap myself up for warmth, or as an extra cushion for my back. It’s perfect and you can be sure it’s already sitting in my carry on luggage for tomorrow

A little under a month ago I had the honour of attending a dear friend’s wedding It was the only day out a streak of hot days that was predicted to be rainy, fortunately after the ceremony finished up the sun was out and bright as ever~ This time I tried my hand at a hazy like filter to achieve the warmth of the sun

Whilst at the beach we passed by some of these really beautiful “beach houses”, I know that’s not the technical term, but either way these were adorable. For some reason it was a very quiet at the beach that day, almost no one was around so it was nice to relax, enjoy the sunshine and gentle breeze on our own

A seemingly simple outfit for a walk through the park, but my favourite feature of this outfit is the unsuspecting opening on the back of the vest. Great little touch~

It’s been a while since I last mentioned Operation Simplify! (or Simplicity, I can’t seem to find a name I really like~!)

Time to move on to the next stage, which was planning out my outfits for the working week. I find most of my mornings pretty hectic, I tend to stay up far too late (around 1-2am) and find myself struggling to wake up to the sound of my alarm at 6:45am – 7am.

To make my mornings just a little calmer, I’ve started planning out my work clothes for the week (only four outfits because the client I’m with currently has casual Fridays!).

My ritual now is every Sunday night, I’ll check the weather forecast for the week ahead, and then pick out clothes for each day to wear and hang them out on a little display rack in my bedroom. It makes each morning just that little bit simpler, and anything that helps me in the morning is worth doing!

Plus I just love seeing this display in my room, it just feels so luxurious, especially on days where the sun rays trickle in Simple luxury!
