Nail Swatches: OPI Summer Flutter Collection 2010

OPI‘s summer collection for 2010, entitled Summer Flutter. It’s a great collection of 4 lacquers filled with bright colours and glitter 🙂 Perfect for summer! I love strong pigmented colours, as superficial as it may sound, having pretty nails to stare at whilst waiting for my VMWare image to load at work does help kill a little time XD

Flit a Bit

A bright orange creme, the only creme out of the collection. Reminds me of sun flowers (even though I’m aware sun flowers are typically yellow). 3 coats, no top coat.

Flower to Flower

A vibrant hot pink, with an ever so subtle gold shimmer. Honestly the shimmer is barely noticeable from a far, but up close it becomes more obvious. Wearing this on my toes at the moment, very fresh and vibrant! The colour itself isn’t over unique, but admittedly I don’t see hot pinks with the gold shimmer often. 3 coats, no top coat.

Wing it!

Shimmery fuchsia, it almost has a duo chrome finish between red and hot pink. It contains tiny bright pink glitter in it that reflect purple / orange. I did find it difficult to obtain full opacity despite my standard 3 coats though, which was disappointing. No top coat.

Catch me in your net

Hands down, my FAVOURITE colour! It’s blue, it’s sparkly / glittery, it looks amazing in sunlight, what more could I have asked for? Despite the photo, the glitter bits are really not that chunky. I can see myself wearing this a lot throughout summer. 3 coats, no top coat.

Verdict: LOVE Catch me in your net, blues are my favourite colour so that’s no surprise! But the glitter in it is amazing~ You can buy these for $19.95AU each at David Jones.

Keep Up with Mia
