EOS Lip Balms have been floating around the blog and youtube world for some time now, it’s a spherical shaped lip balm designed to provide moisturse for your lips.

The packaging is without a doubt the most loved and talked about feature of the product, I haven’t seen anything like this before, simply adorable!

As for the product itself, that’s kinda of a different story. It smells lovely and does give a bit of moisturisation, but honestly it doesn’t stand up to the quality of other balms that really do help chapped lips. This reminds me a little of the Soap Opera Balm I reviewed last week, certainly not suitable for Winter, but would be great for Summer if you suffer from very mild dry lips.

But let’s face facts, it’s not the best lip balm out there, but it has earnt it’s spot in my personal makeup bag because it smells delicious and is just so cute! I’ve already admitted to being a superficially visual person, what more do you want from me!? j/k 😉

  1. I agree, they aren’t very moisturising for really dry lips but they are a good lip balm for Summer. I love the sphere shape, makes it easy to find them in my handbag hehe.
Have you tried the EOS stick lip balms? They are a bit softer and more moisturizing.

    1. Ooh no I haven’t!! Thanks for the tip, I will have to give them a go 😀

  2. Great review and I totally agree on all points made, I have three and I do adore their cute factor and scent but yer not high on the moisture factor 🙂

    1. Thanks 🙂 It would be the ultimate lip balm if they were more moisturising 🙁

  3. I had one of these and really liked it (though I wasn’t like OMGMOSTMOISTURISINGBALMEVAR) but the thing that irked me was how you can’t get all of the product – there’s this weird thing at the bottom that inevitably leads to wasted product. It kind of looks like bicycle wheel (like spokes) and it’s about a centimetre above the true bottom of the sphere. The balm is stuck between the spokes, and when I tried to get this last bit of product out it just fell under the spokes -___- couldn’t figure out how to remove the plastic spokes thingo without cutting it so I just threw it out. Bit of waste imo!

    1. ooh! Man you are a wealth of knowledge, I had no idea that’s how it was structured under the product (I haven’t even really dented mine yet) Thanks for the heads up!!
