My brows are one of the most confusing and hardest part of my makeup routine. That’s mostly because day to day I don’t do anything with them, they are naturally very dark and so I never feel the need to fill them in.
However when I do a Book of Fables chapter or photo shoot, and the eye makeup is much stronger that what I normally wear, I can see the need to fill in my brows.
I struggled for a long time to find a good brow pencil that could give me stronger brows without being too over the top. This is when I came across Chanel’s Crayon Sourcils Sculpting Eyebrow Pencil.
As you can see in the swatch below, this is an almost black pencil, dark enough to match my own brows, but not too dark to be extreme. The thing about this pencil is that it is very pigmented and so it needs to be used with a very light hand else it can come off too heavy.
The end brush is equally as important, as it helps blend out and soften the pencil on your brows. It doesn’t actually soften the amount of pigmentation you have, but it does remove any obvious lines so the colour blends seamlessly into your natural brows.
Love this brow pencil, given how pigmented it is I know it will last me a very long time! If you’re interested, you can purchase it online for $29US.
