Topshop Velvet Finish Moisturising Lipstick Review, Swatches and Photos

Topshop Velvet Finish Moisturising Lipstick

So a couple days ago I did a review on the Tophop Velvet Finish Lipsticks and today I’ll be reviewing the Topshop Velvet Finish Moisturising Lipstick range! I have five colours from this range to show you: Ohh La La, a soft coral shade. Infrared, a bright tangerine shade. Rumour Has It, a muted beige nude (almost matches my natural lip colour). Innocent, a soft bubblegum pink and Sartorial, a beautiful watermelon shade (my favourite!).

Everything regarding the scent and packaging remains the same as per my original review, so please check it out if you’re curious!

In terms of formula, I actually prefer this formulation than the Velvet finish because I felt these were less prone to drying out my lips. The Velvet Finish wasn’t drying per say, but they certainly weren’t as moisturising as this range.

When it came to pigmentation, I felt that it performed just as well as the Velvet Finish range, so realistically the only key difference was the moisturising factor, which is a huge deal for me and my constantly chapped lips. Day to day I much prefer to use anything with a moisturising factor to it, I tend to stick to lip balms for that reason.

Highly recommend this range out of all the Tosphop lipsticks, especially if you have drier lips. I want to purchase the entire range I love these if I could, though I realistically know five is probably enough! My favourite shade is Sartorial, I’m a sucker for watermelon shades, they are my favourite!

If you’re interested, each lipstick is available online for £8.00.
