Chanel Summer 2013 Rouge Coco Shine – Pygmalion & Idylle Lipstick Review, Swatches and Photos

As part of Chanel’s Summer 2013 collection, they released two new colours in their Rouge Coco Shine line. Pygmalion, a watermelon rose sheer colour and Idylle, a peachy beige sheer colour.

I am no stranger to the Rouge Coco Shine line, one of my favourite lipstick lines ever! These lipsticks feel like they are a cross between a balm and a lipstick, they feel moisturising, but still give relatively good colour payoff and they leave a beautiful shine to the lips.

Generally however these lipsticks perform best with a more pigmented shade due to their sheer nature. You can see both lipsticks swatch pretty well, but Idylle barely shows on the lips, where as Pygmalion gives your lips a good healthy pinky red.

So if you were planning to pick out a shade for yourself, I’d recommend Pygmalion, as you’d actually be able to see some colour.
