MAC Pearlmatte Face Powder – In For a Treat Review, Swatches and Photos

I’m well aware that I’m probably far too late to the party regarding this review since this product is limited edition, I can’t remember which collection from MAC this product was from (because seriously MAC releases more collections than I can count now), but it was just too pretty not to review.

I’ve not really had a ton of experience with MAC’s Pearlmatte Face Powder range, but from what I can tell this appears to act more as a highlighter / potentially blush as opposed to an all over face powder.

It goes without saying that the design is gorgeous, but I suspect the bulk of the product is the white you see around the edge since after a few uses I could see the brown part of the design starting to fade, still the application remains the same each time.

The highlighter leans more to the pinky side, and as you can see the sheen it gives off is beautiful! I absolutely love highlighters like this that give my skin a healthy dewy slightly over the top glow! It’s a bit much for in person (but to adjust, just use a lighter hand), but for photos and on camera, it’s amazing 🙂 I love it!

Unfortunately I have no idea if this is still readily available anymore 🙁 Hence my reluctance to post this on the blog, but I love it too much 🙂
