Essie Neon 2013 Nail Polish Collection Review, Swatches and Photos
It’s my first day back at work for 2014 *sad face*, but as superficial as it sounds, bright colours actually do help lift my spirits 🙂
Today I’ve got a sample from Essie’s Neon 2013 Collection which were kindly sent to me from Essie 🙂 The collection is made out of very vibrant crème shades! Just beautiful 🙂 I didn’t have any issues with the formula for these, pigmentation was good and I recommend at least 2 coats to get full coverage. All swatches are 2 coats without any top coat.
Bottle Service
A bright watermelon shade, I noticed on various blogs this polish appears a lot more “neon” and bright, but for some reason mine came out to be a pretty deep watermelon shade? No idea! Either way I much prefer this shade the way it appeared for me 🙂 It’s girly, yet still wearable in the work place! And I’m a sucker for anything watermelon related~
DJ Play That Song
Vibrant grape shade, all I can think of is bubblegum grape flavour when I see this shade!
Saturday Disco Fever
A bright orangey red shade, like a deep tangerine. Almost looks red in certain light.
Shake Your A$$ Maker
A vibrant green shade, and yes it does remind me of money! Pigmentation isn’t as great as the other polishes since you can still see through to my nail, but it’s a gorgeous shade none the less!
