Favourite Blushes of the Moment

When it comes to blushes, I get the feeling I may have landed into a bit of a rut. I don’t necessaily seek out blushes to use, more I grab what’s closest to me and if I like it, I just never leaves my little “daily drawer” of makeup. That is essentially how I ended with the selection you see below.

Aside from when I’m testing out blushes, these are the five blushes I have found myself using extensively in 2014. My pattern became painfully obvious when I started swatching each of these blushes side by side: shimmery coral blush. It’s weird, throughout the year I really did think I was switching it up, but I guess I really REALLY wasn’t.

And while I love these blushes to death, I’m going to challenge myself to change it up a bit more next year~ I’m planning to start a little monthly segment where I show you the products I’m currently using for that month, and then change (almost) all of it out for a different set 🙂 Still unsure what I should call it, maybe the Monthly Rotation? We’ll see how long that lasts before I fall back into a rut again 🙂
