NARS Fall 2012 Duo Eyeshadow – Vent Glace Review, Swatches and Photos

Vent Glace is the eye shadow duo by NARS that was released along with their Fall 2012 range.

This palette contains two shades, the first is a light silver shadow, and the second is a darker silver khaki shadow, both with a shimmery finish. I’d say this falls as an average to above average duo. I don’t find all of the NARS Duo Eye Shadow palettes to be equal in terms of quality and pigmentation, and these as you likely can tell are not extremely pigmented, but are great at giving a sheer wash of soft colour to the eyes.

The photos of myself wearing them below were taken on the morning I was heading out the door to work. I was a little apprehensive that silver shadows wouldn’t be deemed work appropriate / wearable, but surprisingly it worked!

The shadows lasted fine till the evening, though I attribute part of that to the eye primer I always use underneath.
