Lookbook #16 – Rosella

Inspired by an advertisement board for Napoleon Perdis I found at my local Chemist 🙂 The colours were so vibrant, it instantly reminded me of the Rosella painting I have hanging in my study room.

I’m pretty fond of the drama behind this look, if I had a wig I think it would be a pretty convincing transformation! Which is exactly what I love about cosplay and makeup 🙂 And we all know I’m a sucker for strong pigmentation~ Want vibrant colours for your eye shadows? Use a wet brush, it seriously works!

  1. Wow! That makeup is gorgeous! How did you learn how to apply makeup so well?

    1. Aww! Thanks so much <3 You have no idea how much that means to me 🙂 I guess I'm a tad obsessed and love to paint and such a lot 🙂 <3

  2. There’s no problem with being obsessed =] at least you make use of your makeup, I don’t. Working in childcare there is really no need to be made up.
So you’ve never done any professional makeup courses?

    1. No, but I’d love to take some! I bet there is a world of knowledge to be learnt 🙂

Yep, it’s bad though. In the sense when I try to justify a purchase, I think “well I could use it on a Look book!”.

  3. Lol. That sounds like me with shoes. “But I don’t have a pair that looks like these”. And then I end up with a million pairs of slightly different black heels. As long as you’re buying all different items and using them I say it’s fine 😉

  4. So lovely! I completely agree its very rosella-like ^_^ I’m so obsessed with bright colours too at the moment.
