Chanel Lumière D’Artifices Beiges Review, Swatches and Photos
This highlighter was from Chanel’s Fall 2012 collection~
The design for this is gorgeous, just look at it! I know it doesn’t last forever, but the design for Chanel’s face powder products these last couple of collections is just amazing!
But then comes the actual practicality of using this product, and suddenly that’s where the rave ends. I think perhaps this shade better suits people with a darker skin tone, but I can’t say for sure. I’m a little confused about this product because it’s more of a medium sand colour, than what I expect to see in an actual highlighter. Which means on my skin it doesn’t do a lot, it does provide a nice sheen, but it isn’t truly that versatile.
I do however think this highlighter would be more suitable if I was shooting for a bronzed appearance. All in all, it’s an okay product. But I wouldn’t be encouraging anyone to go out and grab a compact now.

I swatched this quite a few times when it launched, but like you was confused as to how I would get use out of it. I’m happy that I chose to buy Troublant instead, that thing is a stunner.
