Clinique Long Last Lipstick – Bejewled Pink Review, Swatches and Photos
Earlier in May this year, Clinique released a bunch of new colours to their Long Last Lipstick line and were kind enough to send me one to try 🙂 The same line used through Karen Walker’s Spring 2012 show during New York Fashion Week last year 😀
If I had to try and compare this lipstick to something similar, I would say it isn’t as hydrating and creamy as Chanel Coco Rouge, however they are no where near as dry as matte lipsticks. In terms of appearance they are closer to MAC Lipstick’s in the lustre finish, but less dry, more hydrating and a bit more pigmented.
The colour lasts right up until it’s time to eat without any fading, they don’t leave my lips feeling any drier, similarly they don’t add any hydration either. Honestly I normally have dry lips and don’t feel the need for a balm when I use this! This particular share also leaves a very nice iridescent sheen to the lips so it gives the otherwise relatively subtle colour a little bit more lift~
