Face of Australia’s Mineral Lip Shine in Fairy Floss gives a very soft pearl / frosty pink finish. The product is surprisingly moisturising, I didn’t experience any drying of the lips at all, but I wasn’t able to obtain a whole lot of colour either. It reminds me of gloss in that way, but without the sticky / gloss finish, just the shine.

The shade would look great paired with some black smokey eyes if you’re trying to add a touch of “glam” to your look without being too heavy. It might suit some people as an everyday product, depending on your comfort levels.

The only thing I found a bit off putting was the smell. But fortunately you won’t be able to smell it once it’s on your lips. The truth is that this is a solid lip product, it performs well and achieves a lovely finish, but it doesn’t personally wow me. Maybe my expectations are misaligned, I’m not the biggest fan of frosty lipsticks, I’m more about rich pigments or nudes 🙂 Still I know there is certainly a big market out there for frost lips so give this a shot if you’re in it 🙂
