Jill Stuart Jewel Crystal Eyes – 11 Smoky Azurite Review, Swatches and Photos

Jill Stuart Jewel Crystal Eyes - 11 Smoky Azurite

Jill Stuart needs no introduction, it is likely one of the most girly princess like makeup brands I have ever encountered. Much more readily available in Asia, but can be obtained online if you’re willing to pay the hefty prices!

This particular palette was part of Jill Stuart’s Autumn 2012 collection, the less neutral of the two palettes available. If you’re familiar with the quality of Jill Stuart eye shadows, then this isn’t a big shift from the existing palettes.

Generally Jill Stuart is more about appearance and packaging than it is about quality. It’s certainly not low or bad quality of course, it just isn’t as top notch as you would expect for the prices you pay. It swatches decently, not overly pigmented. Make sure to tap off the excess shadow with these shadows as it is prone to fall out.

All shadows contain some level of shimmer, especially the lightest shade that are actually micro-glitters.

All in all, not a bad palette, not one I’d use for work as I’m a bit of a neutral junkie. I believe in Australian dollars, these palettes can range anywhere from $50 to $70 dollars depending where you purchase them and when you do the conversion.

That aside, I’m a sucker for all things cute and pretty so you can expect to see more Jill Stuart reviews coming soon!

  1. Can’t wait for you to do more review on this, very lovely packaging and shades. I love the pink and the purple combo. Really like the soft look on you.

  2. This doesn’t look like the sort of palette I would get use from, but I do like the eye look you have created with it. I think sometimes packaging is nice to have more than the product inside, and that is alright by me ;P

  3. I wouldn’t use this palette cause of the bad pigmentation, but the packaging is really really pretty!
