Urban Decay Holiday 2012 Feminine Palette Review, Swatches and Photos

As part of Urban Decay’s Holiday 2012 collection, (like last year) they released three eye shadow palettes. They share the exact same names, only the package has pretty much in my opinion been upgraded!

This palette contains six eye shadows and one lip gloss. Besides Skimp, all five remaining shadows have a shimmery finish. The quality here is pretty top notch, I found all six shadows to have very good pigmentation, almost too strong if you aren’t careful with your application. They blend beautifully together and have a beautifully buttery texture.

The colour choice was probably the most neutral I could find out of the three palettes released. Skimp and Lost are colours I would use everyday / at work, the rest are probably more evening appropriate shades, unless you enjoy wearing colour to work.

The gloss is good, but nothing special. Reminds me a little of Lancôme Juicy Tubes minus the sparkle. The shade is so close to my neutral lip colour that it really just appears like clear gloss on me.

All in all, really love this palette 🙂 The cute mirror is always a bonus when travelling and I really love the zipper packaging. Much sturdier than last year’s cardboard version. These retail for $36US online.
