Mocktails ~ Tropical Frappe

Mocktails ~ Tropical Frappe

With the weather being as incredibly hot as it currently is (average of above 30 degrees??), tropical mocktails of any kind seem to be most suitable! Last weekend during the 40 degree heat, I pulled out one of my many Mocktail books and decided upon this to help cool down. The recipes states that this makes a better breakfast juice, and I can completely see why. Personally in the future I’d probably use a juicer rather than a blender as the result was rather thick and filling! Which would have been fine if I hadn’t already indulged in such a decadent luncheon earlier 🙂

What you’ll need is:

1 cup of chopped cantaloupe
1 chopped banana
1 cup of chopped paw paw
1 cup of chopped pineapple
1 chopped mango
250ml of pineapple juice
ice
1 lime for styling

All you need to do is pop all the fruits into a blender, blend till smooth. Then add in the ice and pineapple juice, blend and you’re done! Perfect for the sweltering summer weather and perfect for me to enjoy the afternoon and ease into the evening 🙂
