My Mocktails – Paris Passion

Paris Passion

I am obsessed with mocktails! If you know me offline, then this comes as no surprise! I don’t drink alcohol or coffee, so since I was a kid I’ve been constantly obsessed with trying every single mocktail I can find 🙂

I decided in an attempt to be more “lifestyle” friendly I would need to show you guys more of the things that do touch my life, and making and drinking mocktails is one of them. I honestly tend to do this more at home with my family, rather than with friends (though I did for the first time at Halloween party recently!). My family are total fruit addicts (we eat fruit every single night) so mocktails are a favourite among them 🙂

So I’m starting a new mocktail series called My Mocktails, where I show you how I make mocktails that I personally like. Some of them are inventions of my own (kinda of like today’s post), and others will come from my favourite recipes books. However all drinks I make are always customised to my particular taste as I do tend to have a sweet tooth, but I’ll make sure to highlight the changes I make in case you happen to share my love for all things sweet 🙂

Today’s post is the first of this new series I’ll be running, so it seems fitting that I feature the first mocktail I made myself. I tasted a similar drink to this at a local cafe one day, loved it so much and ran home to try and figure out how to make it. It took a number of failed attempts, but I finally hit the jackpot to me! It’s become one of my favourite drinks and I’ve made it so many times now 🙂

My version makes around 6-8 cups depending on how big your glasses are. For this recipe I took 1kg of chopped watermelons, removing as many seeds as you can in the process.

Next I chop up about 250g of strawberries, I always cut them in half because I’m extremely worried about finding worms or other unwanted “guests” in my fruit >_>

I put in around 3-4 scoops of vanilla ice cream, though I change it up depending on how sweet and thick I want my mocktail to be.

250ml of guava juice, again this changes depends on whether I want my mocktail to be watery or not 🙂 Feel free to customise as you go along, that’s what I do with all my drinks!

Finally throw it all in a blender, blend till smooth and serve! Viola! Easy right? 🙂 Hope you enjoy the post and my new series 😀 Let me know if you decide to give this a shot, I’d love to know what you think 😀

  1. Oooh looking forward to the rest of this series – I’m allergic to alcohol so I’m always on the hunt for a good mocktail too!
