Healesville Sanctuary

During my primary school years, I remember being taken to Healesville Sanctuary for a number of different school excursions to learn more about our wonderful Australian native wildlife. As a child I could never appreciate such trips, though I did highly appreciate the fact that we were able skip class for that day!

It’s been probably over 2 decades (wow that’s a long time) since I last visited the Sanctuary and since Toby has never been, we decided to make a day of it (or half a day).

If you love the Australian wild life and want to learn more, then this is the best place to do it! The sanctuary is a really great representation of the Australian outback and it was nice to reminisce over childhood memories with my special someone 🙂

Keep Up with Mia
