The year was 2016! Well not really but I finally f The year was 2016! Well not really but I finally found a trend I felt like jumping on so here we are and what an insane year 2016 was that I had no idea! Started the year off strong by getting engaged in New York City right when the ball dropped! Stopped over in Hawaii on the flight home cause why not? In Feb we headed over to Tasmania for a quick get away to explore. The following month some dear friends got married and brought all my coworkers together in a mini over night stay! Hopped over to Germany to visit @surfacedstudio family and then explored Scotland and England! High tea at the Ritz was peak experience! Then in August we got married 🥳 Couple months later we welcomed our three kittens (now very lazy cats) Bruce, Bolt and Bella 🥰 Final international trip of the year was going back to Hawaii with @violetlebeaux and @jimmyamerica, one of my favourite trips we’ve done together! Last day of the year spent on the beach watching the sunset on 2016. What a year! #bringback2016 #2016 #2016nostalgia
Decided to head over to New Zealand to “celebrate” Decided to head over to New Zealand to “celebrate” baby girl’s first birthday and my last major trip before returning to work from mat leave. We did the same trip when my son turned one and safe to say this trip was far more successful (neither Toby or I were violently ill this time…) We visited Mt Eden, the aquarium, the zoo and ate some amazing food! Air travel with a toddler and baby unlocked a new level of hard but the memories were priceless and I’m excited for the future memories coming my way! (After I go back to work and slave away to make money to pay for said memories….)
Long time no grid post! I guess thats parenthood f Long time no grid post! I guess thats parenthood for me, majority of my camera roll the last few years have been my family and kids, stuff I never traditionally posted online hence lack of content I could share. I’ll eventually come back to posting more about just me 😏 when I learn to be comfortable in my new skin… In the meantime, a few snaps from our first “flight” trip as a family of four! Baby girl took to the plane much better than expected and her brother is now old enough to actually enjoy travel 😍 Life is a pure mix of chaos and love and everything in between. I tell @surfacedstudio constantly, I’ve never been so happy 🥰
And then there were four, last weekend we welcomed And then there were four, last weekend we welcomed our baby girl into the world 😍 it was such a different experience than when we welcomed our son and I’m forever so grateful to be given the opportunity (esp at my age as I turn 41 in a couple weeks) to be blessed with two healthy kids ❤️ once again @meich3ah took good care of us and gave me the greatest gift of all, my family 🥰 our hearts are so full ❤️
Finally getting around to looking through all the Finally getting around to looking through all the random photos I took during our recent trip to Japan! This felt like an extra special trip for a number of reasons. 1) First time visiting our favourite country with bubs ❤️ created lots of great memories and can’t wait to come back together many more times 2) Celebrated Christmas and New Years with @violetlebeaux and @jimmyamerica who were also there, something we’ve wanted to do for many years now The whole trip had its ups and downs, travel with a toddler is never easy atleast for me but we also had the best time doing the simplest of things. I’m grateful for having the opportunity to travel with my family and it makes me excited to revisit the whole world with bubs ❤️
