Imagery ~ Washington DC + Smithsonian

Back in the USA, our next stop was Washington DC! The political hub of the USA that we just couldn’t not pay a quick visit to. Growing up in Australia, you hear about these monuments all the time, but when you actually come over to see them, it can be quite overwhelming. Having done my fair share of travel through Asia, Europe, Australia and the US, I can safely say that Americans are certainly a patriotic crowd. And I can see why, visiting these beautiful sites, reading the inspiring scriptures made me feel proud in a strange way. I may not be an American, but I can say I am certainly proud to be an Australian 🙂
